Trusted Brand Partners

Over more than two decades, Brayco Floor Design has built long-running relationships with leading flooring and tile suppliers. We specify their materials because they combine reliable supply, technical support, and the product depth Calgary homeowners and builders expect—not because a single vendor fits every job.

Each profile summarizes public positioning—what they supply and what tends to set them apart in their segment—plus how Brayco uses them on Calgary jobs. Summary text is paraphrased from partners' public sites for convenience; official details remain on their websites. Wordmarks in the tiles are custom graphics for on-brand presentation and are not necessarily the partners’ registered logos.

Ames Tile & Stone

Official site: www.amestile.com/

Ames Tile & Stone is a Western Canada tile and stone distributor with roots dating to 1912 and distribution centres including Calgary, Edmonton, Burnaby, and Winnipeg. They supply ceramic and porcelain wall and floor tile, mosaics, gauged porcelain slabs, natural stone, tools, setting materials, and their own luxury vinyl programs—serving architects, designers, contractors, and retailers on residential and commercial work.

From their site: Ames positions itself as Western Canada's premier tile and stone supplier, offering leading-edge products to architects, designers, contractors, and retailers—from ceramic and porcelain to gauged slabs and luxury vinyl.

What sets them apart in the industry

Ames positions itself as a long-tenured Western Canadian specialist rather than a generic importer: multi-generational ownership, TTMAC-oriented staff training in tile and stone basics, and a broad global sourcing footprint with heavy import volume back regional stock. That combination matters when projects need slab-scale porcelain, natural stone, coordinated mortars, and LVT from one trusted trade channel.

Working with Brayco: Brayco has worked with Ames materials for many years: their Calgary distribution network, showroom resources, and technical docs make it easier to deliver consistent installs—from standard porcelain to large-format and outdoor-rated systems.

Julian Tile

Official site: www.juliantile.com/

Julian Tile is a wholesale distributor active across Western Canada and the U.S. Pacific Northwest, with Calgary among its branch markets. Since 1978 they have focused on porcelain and ceramic, natural stone, slabs, outdoor-rated systems, and related categories—sourcing globally with buyers who visit factories and quarries to vet quality and consistency.

From their site: Since 1978 Julian Tile has focused on porcelain expertise and large-format slab technology, with buyers who visit factories and quarries globally.

What sets them apart in the industry

Julian stands out for scale in large-format and slab porcelain—marketing sheet sizes into the multi-foot range with thin, standard, and thick bodies suited to fireplaces, feature walls, showers, countertops, and exterior façades where frost and UV resistance matter. That slab and outdoor competency is harder to find from small boutique importers.

Working with Brayco: We regularly specify Julian Tile for Calgary renovations and new builds where homeowners want curated series, dependable stock, and support from a supplier that knows the regional market.

Beaulieu Canada

Official site: beaulieucanada.com/en/

Beaulieu Canada is a major Canadian carpet and hard-surface manufacturer with decades of history designing, producing, and distributing floor coverings nationwide. Their line-up spans broadloom and carpet tile, laminate, engineered hardwood, and resilient products—aimed at residential, commercial, and property-management channels with certified, tested constructions.

What sets them apart in the industry

What distinguishes Beaulieu in Canada is vertical integration as a manufacturer—not just a distributor—plus a very wide retail footprint and ongoing R&D for trends and performance. For carpet-heavy renovations and multi-family or commercial carpet programs, that factory backing and national availability often simplify warranty paths and repeatability versus one-off specialty brands.

Working with Brayco: For carpet and coordinated resilient products, Brayco turns to Beaulieu when Calgary projects need manufacturer-backed warranties, mainstream availability, and proven performance in real homes—not just showroom samples.

Ceratec Surfaces

Official site: www.ceratec.com/en

Ceratec Surfaces is a Canadian-owned surface company spanning ceramic and porcelain tile—including floor, wall, mosaic, and extra-large formats—plus vinyl plank and tile and a full ecosystem of mortars, membranes, shower systems, tools, and finishing accessories. They operate showrooms and professional resources across the country and sell through authorized retail partners.

From their site: Ceratec markets new tile and vinyl collections with an emphasis on quality and design, suited to residential and commercial wall and floor applications.

What sets them apart in the industry

Ceratec’s edge is end-to-end “surface system” thinking: curated tile and vinyl collections paired with branded installation products so specifiers and installers can align aesthetics, slip/wear ratings, and warranty stacks without hunting across unrelated vendors. For Canadian projects that prioritize domestic headquarters and national dealer support, they are a natural fit.

Working with Brayco: Brayco values Ceratec when clients ask for Canadian-made or Canadian-headquartered tile programs with clear technical data and integrated setting materials—ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, and feature walls.

Twelve Oaks

Official site: twelveoaks.ca/

Twelve Oaks is a Canadian flooring supplier marketing engineered hardwood, luxury vinyl, laminate, and coordinated accessories to dealers from coast to coast. They emphasize construction details suited to seasonal humidity swings, indoor environmental credentials such as FloorScore on relevant lines, and digital tools like visualizers and sample programs for homeowners.

From their site: Family-owned and North American–based, Twelve Oaks has grown into a leading designer and distributor of flooring, with dedicated facilities and customer support.

What sets them apart in the industry

In rigid LVP and engineered wood, Twelve Oaks leans into climate-aware storytelling—multi-ply engineered cores, waterproof rigid lines marketed for extreme cold, and formaldehyde-emission positioning on wood products. That focus resonates in Alberta where dry winters, pets, and basements push clients toward documented performance and clear install guidance.

Working with Brayco: We use Twelve Oaks where Calgary homeowners want rigid-core LVP, laminate, or engineered wood with documented install guidance and finishes that stand up to pets, traffic, and Alberta temperature swings.

Olympia Tile + Stone

Official site: www.olympiatile.com/

Olympia Tile + Stone is one of North America’s largest tile and stone distribution networks, with deep roots in Canadian wholesale dating to the 1920s–1950s era of ceramic imports. Today they cover porcelain, ceramic, glass, natural stone, resilient products, and commercial-grade lines, backed by extensive warehousing, showrooms, and a slab-oriented supply chain for architecture and design.

From their site: Olympia offers strong, stylish tiles for busy environments—from kitchen and bathroom to commercial spaces—with broad selections in porcelain, ceramic, glass, natural stone, and mosaics.

What sets them apart in the industry

Olympia’s differentiator is sheer catalog depth and exclusive factory relationships—they publicly position as exclusive distributor for a very large roster of international manufacturers, plus integrated setting-material brands such as Flextile for mortars and adhesives. For complex commercial jobs or slab-driven residential features, that one-stop specification path is difficult to replicate regionally.

Working with Brayco: When a job needs deep inventories of stone-look porcelain, commercial-grade wear layers, or slab-adjacent coordination, Brayco leverages Olympia’s catalog to keep trade schedules and design intent aligned.

Primco

Official site: www.primco.ca/

Primco Limited is a Calgary-headquartered wholesale flooring distributor serving Western Canada since 1947. They stock and source carpet, carpet tile, laminate, luxury vinyl, hardwood, tile, and commercial programs—working with established mill partners and emphasizing relationships with installers and retailers.

What sets them apart in the industry

Primco’s strength is hyper-local Western Canadian distribution from Alberta: fast sample logistics, regional inventory familiarity, and decades of dealer relationships versus distant national DCs. For Calgary builders and renovators who need carpet rolls, hardwood, or LVP turned around on real-world schedules, that proximity and wholesale focus matter as much as brand names on the label.

Working with Brayco: As a Calgary-area installer, Brayco’s relationship with Primco is hands-on: local sample logistics, dealer support, and Alberta-focused stocking help us turn around carpet, LVP, and hardwood scopes without unnecessary delays.

"Brayco Tile really went over and above for me! We had an issue with some tile that was laid 6 years ago and not only did they come to have a look, they quickly set up a time to come back to fix the issue. There was no hassle at all and Cory, the owner, personally explained everything to us. He was polite and courteous and sent over a really nice young man, Brendan, who carefully replaced some tile and some grout. Brendan also explained exactly what he was doing and was careful to protect the area and did a very thorough clean-up after the fact. We did not expect this to necessarily be a warranty job but they never once mentioned a charge, instead they just went ahead and fixed the issue. I also need to mention that Homes by Avi was our builder and they also were involved and immediately jumped to take care of us. I will give Homes by Avi a separate review. I would not hesitate to use Cory at Brayco Tile and want to personally say a big Thank You! to both Cory and Brendan. Thanks guys!! Paul Beattie"
